Saw this on a U Tube video, looks similar to the MFS, although the routers you can choose to select your sub-base don't include Festool.

There are a series of 4 videos done by Wood magazine regarding new tools at the AWFS in Vegas.  Here's the link for the 1st video, others can be found under the related videos listed on the U Tube site.

Looks to me like the entire router has to run down inside the frame that this product makes rather than running on the top of the product as with the Festool system.

Best,
Todd

I have been using the Trend with nice results. I got it at Sears on sale for 89.00 free shipping. It is not as refined as the MFS, but it does work well and on the same principle. It comes with a little foot for the router base so the router does ride on top, but you could use it around the inside if you wanted to.
