Hello. I have a question about the length of the table legs. One side is  about 27" and the other side is 28 1/4" causing the table to tilt a lot. The measurements are on the legs themselves. The adjustment leg doesn't compensate for the difference. Has anyone had this problem? It seems like I have a wrong leg set on one side. Any suggestions are appreciated

Thanks

Michael

There's nothing wrong,  [smile] The longer legs go to the left side and the shorter ones on the right. When you look at the mounting bracket, you will see 2 holes on each bracket. The longer legs on the left go in the top holes and the shorter legs on the right go to the bottom holes. This offset is what allows the legs to fold up nicely.

How do you tell which side of the table is left or right? Mine has a small label marked "MFT-1080" on the front side of one  aluminum extrusion. This label goes to the right front when the table is setup. It's possible the label has been worn off in which case the kerf in the table top should go to the right side.

Thanks for the swift reply. I just looked at mine and both sets are in the bottom holes. I' ll have to switch it out in the morning. It came like that from festool.

Thanks
Michael

Why would it possibly matter if the shorter legs are to the left or to the right?  [unsure]

I don't think it matters but some people prefer to have it as original as possible.  [smile]

It's funny to hear Steve say (er, type) "THE kerf will be on the right".  Says the guy with more kerfs than original surface :)

I started to get with Bob Marino and order a new top when I decided it could still be rotated one more time.  [big grin]

6 years old and still going.  [smile]

I relocated to blighty about 3 mos ago. Just got back from visiting London.I got a glimpse of the queen today.their was a memorial service for vets and the roads were all blocked off it was a big production lots of important people. We saw a car that was escorted that has a crown on it with a little lady in the back seat all we could really see was her hat.

She must have had the short legs in the top holes.  [blink]
