Hi guys,

Am building a systainer storage cabinet and want to top it off with my MFT/3. How do I remove the legs from the aluminum frame?

Thanks,

Frank

You will need to remove the rounded end of the knobs you loosen and tighten to set up the legs.  Then remove the nut inside and viola.  Most images of similar work here shows that members have just used the MFT in the folded position on top of their creations.

This is what I did.  The only issue I've encountered resulting from the folded-up legs is post-work clean-up.  The legs tend to get in the way when I vacuum up the debris under the MFT.  Then again, if I took off the legs, they'd be in the way in the shop and I'd have to reassemble the MFT if I wanted to take it out for site work.  That and keeping track of the knobs and bolts that seem to want to go on walkabout as soon as I take them out...
