So just before Festool introduced their  router table systems to North America I picked up an Incra LS super fence system off the internet classifieds   [unsure]

After noodling around a bit here’s what I came up with.

The MFT/3 table is close to the perfect size for the 17” fence system- and, of course I’d forgotten I got the 25” LS, so I if I ever want to make that dovetailed blanket box I can see a few extensions in my future. I’d need to push back the mounting points eight inches. There’s a couple additions I’m planning  anyway.

The original top hasn't been touched - I can switch between the two in a couple of minutes.

How do you like the Incra LS?  I've got an opportunity to buy a 25 (I think might be a 17) for around $100.  Have never even thought about getting one but the deal is hard to pass up.  I'd have to come up with a whole new router table... I like the size of yours.  I'd probably do it out of 8020.

I just finished up the table this week, so I haven’t used it a lot (yet). So far I’ve only used it for some simple routing, but the people who have (used them a lot) love them, and I can see why. As a fence it’s simple to setup, and has good/great repeatability. Then there’s doing dovetails style joints etc (I haven’t tried that yet). From my reading it’s good for smaller sized pieces, but having to cut the dovetails on a vertical piece using the 90 degree sled is painful on bigger sized  panels.  The super fence system can even be setup as a jointer. For a hundred bucks I’d say grab it.

For a hundred bucks you can't go wrong. I love my setup. I have the MFT/3 + CMS/VL+ Incra LS25 and have had a ton of success with it. Dead simple to do daily tasks as well as box and dovetails.

If you search some of my posts you will see pics, otherwise when I am not mobile, I will edit THS post to include links.

Lots of fans of that combo (and hybrids) on this forum.

Cheers. Bryan.
