Sometimes the surface area of the MFT is too small and needs to be extended for additional support.  If I had a second MFT, I would just purchase the connectors and rock on.  I have several Aigner extension tables and rails that I use to extend the support for various power tools in my shop so I decided to adapt them for use on the MFT.  This is what I came up with:

If I hadn't had the Aigner extensions on hand, it would be less expensive to just add another MFT with connectors.  Alternatively, one could also fabricate an extension table out of wood.

Very cool!  Like your MFT cart too and it looks like you have some Zambus casters on the bottom... [thumbs up]

that looks like a very handy system. i presum you can get extra mounting bars for other machines. i was thinking of doing somthing similar with the ug stand wings and a section of the mft rail bolted to the tool. only problem is the l shape. your ones look flat on the top.

Scot - the casters are Woodriver purchased from Woodcraft and seem to be identical to Zambus casters but less expensive.

Alan - the rails are purchased separately and are fairly cost effective.  I had purchased a bunch of rails for various machines years ago and these were some that I hadn't used.  The aluminum extension tables are pricey but they get a lot of use in my shop as they are used on seven different machines in addition to the MFT.
