Working on renovation plans for a newly purchased Mid Century Modern house. The previous owners installed tons of cheap tile (over terrazzo) and a builder grade trim everywhere. I'm looking to install some Trim Tex 9008 tear away bead to replace existing the flat stock around several doors - Seeking mean/methods advice on how to accomplish this.

Any creative ways to trim the jambs in place? The doors are nice and solid and will be reused, but asking to re hang a bunch of doors to make this work seems $$$. Any other suggestions or options for restoring drab big-box trim, to clean and contemporary. Any other Trim-Tex experience is greatly appreciated.
