Anyone got one just wondering if it's worth getting one. I don't go through many bags and manage to empty the normal bags a few times. Just wondering if they're worth the money.

Trying to find something to waste my money on lol with the eBay discount I can get a midi long life bag for £60

Your are lucky to have a choice as in the USA we only have the long life bags for the CT's. Long life bags are available for the mini or the midi.  [mad]

I too would be interested in feedback on the long life bag for the midi.  [smile]

I've had one in mine for about a year now, much better and well worth the cost imo, I was originally re-using the standard bags which ended up affecting the performance as the actual bag became clogged, I find the long life easier to empty and is much more robust and can beat the dust out of it better.

I've had my long life bag for a few months now. I'd put off buying it for years (literally!) but it does make emptying the dust a breeze. Before with the normal bags I sometimes wouldn't have the time to stand there trying to shake out the contents and would just put in another reused one but I'd end up carrying full bags of dust around in the van. Also standing there for 10 minutes shaking out the original bags I realised I'm breathing in stuff I would rather not

I use a combination of both. Sanding paint(lead risk), fine dusts like mdf and some toxic hardwoods all go into disposables for one use only. Re-useable bag for when the midi is on the CMS or kapex or planer where high volume of dust/chips are produced
