So I have this very day joined the festool world with a 2nd hand midi and ts55.

However I think I must be missing something simple with regards to the tloc system.

The midi has a tloc catch, which holds down that side fine, but how does the other side attach?

At the moment I am having to use the old style catches.

Uh...............you've got them mounted backwards.  [oops]

The pictures are showing using the old style clips, I realise it goes the other way round to use the tloc, except only 1 side is secured, or am I misunderstanding you?

The other side of the top of the Midi has two bevelled cavities where the underside of the systainer falls in and locks.
Then you can turn the T-Loc knob to secure the whole systainer.
The 4 clips are only for securing older Classic systainers.

Thank you, though it must be something simple!

On the bottom of t-locs you'll see some hook like feet on the hinge side.

These are what hook into other t-locs or the hose garages on the vacs.

Thanks [member=727]antss[/member] and [member=7673]neeleman[/member] for helping out.

I've attached a few pictures of how the T-Loc works wit the CT MIDI.
