I recently got the new M12 oscillating tool by Milwaukee, link above. I am quite impressed. I have an older Fein corded oscillating tool and tested the speed of it versus this Milwaukee in cutting through a 2x4. Both did it in about 15 seconds. I have two older and cheaper tools and the better of them took twice as long. It bogged down noticably, the Fein and Milwaukee did not.
The Milwaukee changes blades without tools and works something like the Fein but isn't quite as quick. You flip a top lever but then have to unscrew the pin piece. The Fein just pulls out once you flip the lever. The Milwaukee has magnets to hold the blade in position before you get it locked, however, and has 6 pins to hold the blade versus the Fein 4. Both have speed control. I used the Milwaukee to cut an opening for an electrical box in a plywood wall yesterday and appreciated the control. I cross cut a 2x6 today and appreciated the power.
If you are in the market for a cordless oscillating tool, I think you should consider the Milwaukee M12. I've also used a Dewalt cordless and I like the simple squeeze for blade change but it takes a good squeeze. I don't like the trigger speed control on the DeWalt but others may prefer it. I haven't tested the DeWalt for speed, doesn't seem as quick cutting but I might be wrong.
I was surprised that this 12V cordless tool cut about as quickly as a corded Fein. They invented these tools.
