Have any of you guys got any experience making miniature mouldings ie 1/12 scale for dolls houses. I have an idea for an upcoming project and would like to make some

I dont quite have a router table yet I have the porter cable mounted to a piece of MDF. But it works. Im just not sure how i would run a small moulding

I have seen dolls house router cutters in the trend catalogue. And I know I would probably need to run the moulding on a wider board then rip it on the table saw then mould again (have I answered my own question ?)

Just would like to know If anyone has had any success with this

I believe that you did answer your own question about using a wider board and then cutting it loose.  I have had to make small moldings using this approach but not as small as those you are asking about.

My father made a lot of doll's houses. He'd make the mouldings on a Triton router table using a wide board, then cut it off on the table saw.

FWIW, he'd then spray them with aerosol paint and typically glue the mouldings into place already painted.

I never found out how he made his shingle roof designs .. painful level of detail in them [eek]
