Thread 'CT15/CT25 (& CT26 with no BT) users must check these shop-made upgrades out'

I've benefited from these two simple upgrades to my CT15, and have put them together here for ease of reference:

Adding BT to CT15/CT25:

Turning on or off the CT without pressing the membrane switch:
(The membrane switches, in my opinion (and in the views of those whom I've spoken to), are a downgrade from the previous knob switch because it's harder to turn on/off and it's subject to early wearing out...

Sure, Instead of putting the remote start switch on the power cord for the CT-25 (like i did in my old setup), I attached the remote start switch to a small desk fan, and plugged the fan/remote combo into the tool socket on the CT-25.  Here's a video of the setup:

By accident, I found out yesterday how to do more or less just that (at least for the CT15)!

If you leave the CT on but unplug its power cord from the wall outlet, it'll turn off the extractor. When you plug the cord back into the...
 
In case there are others experiencing similar problems with broken internal links, there is an easy fix to restore the URL. XenForo uses a unique key for each post and thread. In the case of @ChuckS's links above, the unique key for the post in the thread is "703351"

To fix this, replace everything after the ".com/" with "posts/703351" as shown below.

Perhaps this "hack" can be pinned somewhere for easy reference?
 
I improved my CT15 bluetooth set-up by putting the remote switch and light bulb inside the cord well:

Now, I have BT wherever the CT15 goes, not just when it's used in the shop.
