Hi, I'm Ady, 51 from the UK, married, 3 grown up kids and an awesome very understanding wife who also happens to be my best friend  [smile]
I work at the same company as my friend and FOG member Bobtskutter
I'm returning to a more woodwork orientated workshop after doing classic VW resto for 20+ years.
I'll own up right now, I don't own anything Festool, there I said it, sorry [embarassed] but boy do I love them.
The thought process that must go into developing Festool tools is outstanding and something I feel I can relate to.
Some call it over thinking, I call it designing something properly, most of my projects have been built and redesigned in my head many times before I actual start with any materials.
My garage/workshop is 8.5mtrs (27'11") by 7.5mtrs (24'7") It has a vaulted roof with a 500kg (1100lbs) lifting capacity.
I had a builder do the foundations, install the steelwork (that I fabricated) and do the brickwork before I put up timber for the roof structure and covering. I had a floor contractor install a power floated concrete floor.
My most recent big project was a workshop for my wife, timber frame, fully insulated and lined (almost passive) with a flat fibreglass roof.
But no one wants to read my rambling, people want pictures [big grin]
