Moving "Quick Links"

Everyone,
In my ongoing effort to make this forum easier to navigate, I will be moving the individual "Quick Links" posts into the "All Tools and Accessories" area.  In other words, there will no longer be a "quick links" board.  This seems to make sense to me, as the quick links are of a more general nature.

With this change, the "Festool Connections" area can be devoted to posts from forum members to Festool representatives, and vice versa.

In general, I'm always looking at the activity level in the forum.  If an area seems to be getting too little attention, I try to remedy that somehow.

One of the issues that I've seen in the past is that FOG has no library or reference section.  I've answered several posts (and have seen a bunch more) where the basic question was "Where can I get info on...".  I point them to the Quick Links section which contains the references.  But...

That raises the question, "Why didn't they go there in the first place?"  I believe it's because there is no FOG reference section.  Or rather the "Quick Links" section exists, but people don't recognize it as a reference library. 

I'd suggest 1) moving the entire "Quick Links" section to the "Festool Tools In General" board and 2) changing the name to something like "Festool Reference Library" or simply "Reference Library".

I agree with Dan.  A reference section would be great.

I'd suggest 1) moving the entire "Quick Links" section to the "Festool Tools In General" board and 2) changing the name to something like "Festool Reference Library" or simply "Reference Library".

Good idea, and certainly worth a try.  I'll do this, and then let's see if there is more activity with it.
