Finally finished my Roubo bench yesterday.  Thought I'd post a few pics here.  You can read more on the build over on TF.  It's hard to post details on both sites but I used a ton of Festools to build it so you may be interested.  It was a lot of fun!

Incredible, u da man. Congratulations on a fine work bench!  [big grin]

I've seen this exact bench somewhere before ( [big grin]).  It's beautiful, I'm sure working on other projects on this bench would raise their overall quality!

Wow, that is very, very nice!!
Bet you don't even want to know how many hours you have into it!
Needless to say it will be around for a long time.  [thumbs up]

Jim,

I ve never seen as great a bench! That is a man's bench right there! Superb

Thanks Eiji.  I'm looking forward to seeing yours come together, when you get around to it. [popcorn]

Simply Stunning Jim!  You did such a great job on all details of this bench.  Something to be proud of for decades to come.    [not worthy]

What an utterly beautiful piece of craftsmanship. I'm virtually shrinking when viewing this.
I can imagine not daring to actually use it, you might scratch it.
I will stay a beginner for a very looong time...

Congratulation, CJ'60

A PERFECT job well done Jim!

Jim

Great, great job.  Thanks for the pics

Please don't hesitate to send us some more when you put the first "ding" in it.  Then it will officially be a work bench instead of a beautiful piece of shop furniture!  ;D

Enjoy the accolades, you've earned them

Or, perhaps set a can of red paint on it as you put a few coats of paint on an old little red wagon as it sets on the bench...  [eek]

I love the design on this Benchcrafted table , the hardware is available at Dieter Schind - Fine Tools, I have the wood for the top already. Just might make this project. I'm interested in the long version as I'd be using it to build full size interior doors. I was thinking though to trade the tail vice out with a Veritas end vice..
