This just started happening maybe a week ago. I have a laptop with Windows 10. I mostly use Chrome but this happens in MS-Edge as well.
If I let the computer sit for 5 minutes or longer the screen goes black - like it should. If I wake it with the mouse and click on a mail it takes sometimes 10 seconds for it to respond. This only happens with g-mail in other windows like the FOG it immediately responds.
I have cleared all the history and on the power menu told it to not have the computer go to sleep but I'm still allowing the screen to shut down.
I just set the display to power off in one minute and now it has the problem at one minute. Must be something with g-mail and display power down.
If I turn off display power off it works fine.
If I have another program open on my computer - if functions normally without the pause.
Any ideas appreciated - thanks.
