Hi everybody,
This is my new closet. Since I am a DIY-er and can work only during the weekends and holidays it took me more than 9 months to build it and an extra couple of weeks to install it.  There are more than 20 drawers of various sizes and shapes and a lot of other stuff. It is not yet finally ready but it is already almost full. My Family enjoy it very much! Me too of course.
Here are some pictures of it.

Looks as if it has been well planned and has turned out to be functional and stylish.
Well done!  :)

Good job arso_bg
I've never attempted frameless but that looks pretty good.  I need to give it a try.
I put a hid-a-way ironing board in the laundry I don't think she used it twice. She likes to set up in different places. It might work out for you but don't be surprised if it doesn't [big grin]
Thanks for the pics.

Mark

Well done!

You've given me some ideas to save on my to-do list for when I get the chance to build my own, especially some of the drawers and the "laundry basket".

Yes, that’s quite correct!
I’ve spent more than a year to plan it! I have considered different designs and constructions and have consulted my wife all the time of course. :)
Here are some pictures of these designs. Now some of them look to me quite weird :)

Unfortunately two weeks ago there was a failure with my computer and it seems that I’ve lost my final design. I made a freehand drawing if someone is interested.

Wait a second!  ???

Are you sure that's going to be enough space for your wife?  We doubled our closet space.  My wife took over the whole new section and could still use more!  [eek]

Well…..that’s  an extremely  precise question ….. I’m wondering recently …. will there be enough space after all…  [big grin] [big grin]

Closet's to women are like workshops for men, there is never enough space!

It took me a bit longer than expected but this week I finally added a “finishing touch” to my closet  :) as it was planned long time ago…  I added a worktop to my corner cabinets and a railing above to expand the capacity of the closet which is very important for my wife of course …. :))
Here are some pictures of it ….

very nice clean lines and nice colors and looks like quality craftsmanship, I give it 2 thumbs up  [big grin]

Another shoe cabinet…

I could not sleep well this night …so I went to my shop and spend the night there .....and here it is a brand new shoe cabinet for my wife ….. a fresh addition to my closet ….for the time being it is still on the bench in my shop …. :) …. This is why I like to make my own furniture …..it is always possible to fit another cabinet in a tight space … and even after years you can add a cabinet and make it to fit the style of the existing old cabinets…

Here are some pictures…

Very good point about flexibility and ability to modify / add if you build your own.  Nice projects!  Glad my wife isn't into shoes or purses.  I have to admit that she has collapsed her closet organizer from weight twice and I justified the LR-32 accessory a couple of years ago to build her a bullet proof one.

Oh well, there is always tomorrow
or next week or next month...

Peter

And here it is already in use….
