Just received my new "RTSC 400 Set" and I am loving it !
I never thought I would develop an interest in cordless tools again, not after cleaning out our basement last year and finding at least three previous generations of cordless drills that all ended up in the trash (for one reason or another).
Three things that swayed my decision:
1) I have accumulated a large supply of "80x133" sandpaper, in anticipation of the LS 130 being my next sander.
2) The ability to switch to a mains connection, should I so desire (I have never seen that option on any other battery tool).
3) While sitting at my computer getting ready to place my order, and debating between the RTCS 400 and the LS 130, I happened to look over at a table my wife wants refinished (wood top and cast iron base), and realized with a RTSC 400, I could bring the sander to the project, rather than lugging the table to the basement shop to sand (or drag the CT26 with boom arm upstairs).
I still want the LS 130, which is now the next sander purchase on my list of wants, but for now i am extremely happy with the RTSC 400 Set!
P.S. I want to give a shout out to [member=63038]ffhend26[/member], who so generously provided me with a Festool Voucher he decided not to use. Without the Voucher, I doubt I would have made this purchase! Thanks again ffhend26
