Hi, the new festool vacuum clamping and others ones on the internet gave me an idea, so I build something with off the shelf parts. While it is really cold in the garage and I have not not use them a lot, they are extremely useful and something that I am planning to use a lot.

Most of the parts are from Joe Woodworker.

Thanks for looking

Very nice for working with small parts.  Did you make the adapter that secures the vice to the MFT?  Where did you get the vice and what is its cost?

Your setup reminds me that I want to try to make an adapter so I can quickly mount my old Zyliss vice to use for many similar operations.

Thanks, yes I made the adapter. I purchased the vice from Lowes, planning to get another one. The vacuum is quite strong and two clamps could probably hold heavy stuff.

Made some updates to the vacuum jig. Enclosed it in a tool box which made it very  portable and reduced the noise level to nothing. Updated pics.
