Has anybody tried the new hitachi cordless finish nail guns  the 15 gauge and anbled 16 gauge  how about their new framer. Has senco fixed thier 15 gauge finsh nalier

I had used the new Cordless, Butane & Battery powered framing gun from Hitachi this past July to build a barn.
I can't say one good thing about it! It was the biggest misfiring POS I have ever used! After 4 hours of attempted use,
I went back to my old faithful Bostitch Compressed Air Framer and never had a problem. Yes, I was using Hitachi's nails, batteries and fuel cells.
I returned the Hitachi to the Lumber yard, they gave me another to try, it was the same way. They gave me my money back no
questions asked, and told me others have had problems as well.

Hi there Glass! I haven't heard great things about the Hitachi framer. A recent article I read rated the Paslode first, and had good things to say about the Max gun. I haven't heard about their cordless 15 gauge. I myself don't own any cordless guns. I might someday get a cordless framer for roof repairs, but for now I just carry two compressors, a big 4 gallon Thomas T-2820 for framing and a smaller Thomas T-617HDN for trimming, and for when I need to shoot just a few framing nails. It's a nice compressor because it weighs-in around 20lbs, so plenty light. Are you just curious, or do you have a project in mind?
