Whats the best way to get part number 228520 for my jigsaw? Its a 91 cent M5 square nut.

Do I still need to go through a dealer or can I order direct from Festool USA?

[member=12487]duburban[/member]  YMMV, but I was able to order small (some under $1) parts through my local Woodcraft.  They receive a regular Festool order every week.  I gave them the part number and they just added it to their regular order.  No extra charge for shipping, just the tax.  Doesn't hurt to ask if you have a local vendor.

Quick search indicates it's a standard DIN nut,  so you could just go third party like Mcmaster Carr.  Get a box of 100 for 8 bucks and be good for years, give some to your friends.

Also you can always give a local hardware store a shot, places like Ace. tend to have very good selections.

I ordered the McMastercar nuts just before posting, I didnt know enough about fasteners to tell if it would be the same exact size.

Guess I’m all set, thanks.

Anyone else have a Colin’s coping foot on a ps300 jigsaw ?
