those are soo nice! i need a set for my welding table [eek]

I have had a play with these at a show recently and they are very well made (typical Bessey).

The main thing to note is that if you are using your MFT3 or custom bench to do accurate sawing using dogs that fit in the holes then these clamps can, in time, distort the hole and lead to less accurate cuts. if you only use your bench for jig work then no problem at all.

There is an easy solution to this for the guys using dogs for accurate cuts - just designate your key dog holes as a no-go area for clamps like this and you are home and dry.

Agreed, although if you use the knobs from the underneath and pull the dog into the bench, you will mitigate the possible distortion laterally.  It takes a few more mins in setup, but the MFT is not a large area to reach under. [cool]  That being said, it does not take a long time to make a replacement top using the cool tool that someone close to you brought to the market  8)
