New brushes in CT48 and it won't start up

My CT48 is six years old and was not providing much suction. After going thru all the basics for blockage, it started to come down to either replacing the carbon brushes in the motor or the motor altogether. I opted for the carbon brushes, and after replacing them, I cannot get the CT48 to start up.

I've taken off the front panel, and other panels to see if I've missed anything; then put them back together again.

Any ideas of what I could be missing?

Financially I'm not in a position to send it in to Festool yet, so I'm trying to solve this one without incurring more cost.

Double check tension springs are properly pushing the new brushes.
