Hi Shane,

I see there are no comments about these beautifully made shop aprons.

I wonder how many woodworkers use or need something this heavy. It seems that leather is the perview of blacksmiths and farriers. I find my canvas Festool apron too restrictive and hot in warmer weather and generally just wear individual pouches.

I do like the direction Calavera is going and wish them well, love to see new products come to market.

Jim

If you're working with a lathe or power carving equipment, they're strongly recommended. Dead man switch or no, an angle grinder with a chainsaw blade on it can do a lot of damage in a split second.

I put mine on every time I walk into the shop. Great for keeping me clean and holding stuff while I am working on equipment.

How do you like it Darcy?  I am getting a lathe later this year and think I might like an apron of sorts. Would gladly support a local guy.

Cheers. Bryan.

I have never been a fan of shop aprons, they sag, droop, stuff falls out of them, etc.

Not this one, it fits and stays where it is supposed to.plus it's kept me from cutting myself on a couple occasions.
