New Cutting Table

'm gearing up to start a big coffered ceiling/wainscot/built-ins project in my home office, so I needed to put together a cutting table to break down the sheet goods. While not as elaborate as the collapsing/sliding tables in other threads, it works well, and is a great height for a tall guy like me when sitting on the MFT table (puts it at about 40" high).

I had a 1/2 sheet of 3/4 birch ply hanging around, so I ripped it into 3 1/2" strips using the new Festool parallel guides (practice for the big project). It's fastened together with pocket screws, and measures 3'x6'. I'd say it weighs around 10 lbs, so it'll be easy to sling into the back of the truck if need be.

Sorry for the bad picture quality- I was too lazy to go find the camera, so I just snapped them with my Blackberry.
