With the launch of the new cleaner/extractor in the UK there has been a huge increase in the number of second hand units offerred for sale. Additionally, there is an increase in  the number of used hoses being listed.

Either users in the UK must have "the latest and greatest" or the the changes have been eagerly awaited.

I am sure when the new CT’s become available here in the US a bunch of vacs and hoses will be for sale too! I know I would want the new smooth hose for sure.

thats usually the case though, a new model comes out and people sell their old hardly used models. I still have a TS 55EQ and use the heck out of it. Unless FT comes up with one that has AI capability and self drives, Ill be using this EQ till it dies a natural death after I resurrect it a few times

Hi,

I haven't had a chance to touch and try the new hoses yet. I will try to do that asap, because: I know a couple of people who already use the new hoses and everyone basically says the same: compared to the old hose it's like night and day. So much smoother when running over edges, so much more flexible, thus easier to handle/maneuver ... (And I never had any problems with my old ones, except for the occasional snagging on an edge...)

I'm pretty sure already that once I tried them, I will get the new hose(s), too.

Personally I won't sell my old because it's always great to have a "free" emergency replacement at hand - but that's just me. And given that even the old hoses still fetch a fair amount of money I can see how some people want to recoup some of the expenses for the new hose.

However, if there should be a CTL-SYS coming with the Bluetooth functionality, I might sell my current unit depending on market price. If I deem it too low, I will find a use for it without much trouble.

Kind regards,
Oliver
