New festool owner

Hello all, In process of redoing my garage and workshop at my wifes request( the mother in law saw it).........I have stumbled upon these fine power tools and had the wife's "blessing" to complete the project:

CT Mini
C-12 Drill with eccentric and right angle head
TS 55 Saw with rail and accs.
Trion Jigsaw
OF 1010 router with 32mm guide rail
Quickclamps
Mini vacuum tool attachments with systainer
and some other asst. stuff.

Absolutely agree.  If you can't add the MFT without removing something from your list, remove the C12.

All of the other tools work with the vac and with the MFT.  There's gobs of synergy there.  You will do better work and enjoy it more with an MFT.

The C12 is really nice, but it could wait till your next slide down the slippery green slope.

Edit:  OK, maybe not the jigsaw and the MFT.  But the TS55 and OF1010, definitely.

Welcome on board and what a great way to get your feet wet with Festool.

I see you are getting one rail with the TS-55 and another with the OF-1010. It is generally agreed to be sure these rails are different lengths. The sales rep should let you swap out the rail with the TS-55 for one of a different size. You will have to pay the price difference of course.

The rail (LR-32 system) with the OF-1010 works fine with the saw, I've been using one with my saw awaiting the Hole Drilling Kit.

Hi, Waterworks

        I started with the ATF55 and CT 22. It was a hard decision to spend the money at that time. Now I am hooked. I have gone into business since then and the Festool stuff is worth every penny in efficiency , quality, etc.  I still only add one tool at a time. It would be really cool to get a bunch at once.  Have fun trying it all out

Sorry I missed that the first time.  55" rail + 42" rail = not quite enough to cut sheets of plywood lengthwise.  You need takeoff and landing zones off the sheet.

I suggest you either add a 1900 rail (75") or substitute it for the 1400 (55").

Thanks everyone, the problem with holding back for stuff, is that all that was sitting in the garage before my post.  I would like to see the MFT3 when it comes out.  A small concern of mine however is floor space.  I like everything tucked away when not in use.
