new garage shop layout

hey guys getting close to finishing up the remodel on my new garage. Just need to do trim and French door.

Moving things around (with place holders) trying to figure out the layout before I build more benches/shelving/outfeed table ect. I plan on buying a bigger bandsaw, probably an edge sander and maybe a larger table saw.

One part will be for my dirtbike/wrenching area (I film some youtube content in this area). I'm not super concerned with the dust carry over as I dont have my engines open very often.. For welding setup I was thinking of building some kind of outdoor cabinet in the carport that can be locked up that way flammables and fumes can be out there. I live on a couple acres so not super worried about thieves.

If you have any suggestions on the layout or things to think about please let me know.

Wow! That looks great! I can’t help with the layout. I tend to move things around when I get to a new room several times before aI settle on positions. I would suggest carriage systems on the big tools to let you move them easier. I think I prefer to keep big tool s off to a side then roll the needed on into an open spot for me to use. That probably has a lot to do with the small areas I get stuck in. Good luck! Congratulations on the remodeled workspace!

Did you account for dust collection, other than dust extractors. You might want to stick some plastic barrier or temp wall, between the bike wrenching area and the sawdust?
