Well, almost Festool hammers.  At least a neon green that's akin to the Festool colors.

So check these things out.  From the makers of one of America's high end mountain bike companies, Intense Cycles, comes Powerstrike Hammers.  A riding buddy and customer turned me on to them with a "Hey, check out this company.  They posted some Intense frames on their site and I realized they make their bikes PLUS really nice framing hammers."

Powerstrike Hammers @ Festoolproducts.com

I was hesitant.  It's a monocoque handle.  Are you kidding, it's gonna vibrate like wild.

Well not at all.  The whole thing is pretty modular and replaceable.  See photo below.

Been working on getting'em in stock fora  while now.  Only a few on the way, very limited availability.  Should have'em from California in a week or two and they'll ship immediately when they arrive.

How do they compare to Stiletto hammers?  I had a chance to demo them at JLC and was very impressed.

Jim, can't say personally.  Though it's extremely well balanced, lightweight, the handle feels awesome in the hand.  I was blown away by the lack of vibration considering the build materials.

Looks like they not only followed Festools' colors, they adopted their pricing ideas. Any idea yet if they are worth the price?

They are not on par with Festool at all in the pricing.  It is half the price of my hammer.

I'd like a Yeti hammer please [smile] [cool]

Me too.  Make mine carbon

I don't know if I should be ashamed to admit it, but I had to do a google search to find out what a yeti hammer was.

Welp, they've made it to the East Coast from Cali and are now in stock.  They're so friggin well balanced and the lack of vibration is astounding and almost perplexing considering its made outta friggin aluminum.

I already havea 16oz stiletto for framing that I've had for almost a decade and a 10oz stiletto finishing that you'd have to pry outta my cold dead hands. There is nothing better, for any price
