New HKC55 KEB - did the depth of cut change at all?

Referencing the facelift HKC - I thought I remember reading somewhere that somehow it can now make 45 angle bevel cuts, on the track, through 2x material? Am I misremembering this since the saw blade is still 55?

Depth of cut remains the same as far as I can see on the specs.
