[member=48572]Shane Holland[/member]  Is the painters tool made of stainless steel?

Checking on this for you, Mike. Festool didn't provide much info. I'll let you know what I find.

How's the dust collection on the cheese board?

It could be feta.  [tongue]

[member=30413]mike_aa[/member], initial information indicates that the blade is not stainless on the painters knife since it was tested and is magnetic.

[member=101]Festool USA[/member], do you have the country of origin for the knife? This was not provided to dealers. Thanks.

It has to be embarrassing to even have these items for sale.
If they sell who cares. You take things too seriously.  [big grin]

The cheese board is from Switzerland. I assume -- always a good idea  [scared] -- that the same is true for the knife that comes with it.

That bamboo is sustainably grown in Swiss Alps.  [big grin] [poke]

If you attended Festool Connect you too would have the same thing Tom just showed.

Plan for next year or buy now.

All,

Thanks to everyone who has already ordered from us. I appreciate you choosing The Tool Nut as your Festool dealer of choice.  [thumbs up] [not worthy] [thanks]

It's not a marketing ploy when I say these are very limited in quantity. If you want one, jump on it now. Don't wait.

Shane

Go buy the Systainers!  Unless you already have a blue and Festool green one you won’t understand how great looking they are in person.

Was given a 5-in-1 by our rep the other day... Put it in the tool box wondering when I'd use it.... Two days later I was bedding Kerdi in thinset and needed something to smooth it into a tight corner.... Worked like a charm. And the shiny surface cleaned easily....

One other quick thing to note for those who missed it... the blue SYS 2 is $20 less than the "normal" anthracite gray SYS 2. So, not only a cool collector's item that's hard to find, but also a good value. Not to mention a good way to differentiate one or more Systainers in your stack for easy identification.

As always, free shipping on all Festool orders from us.  [wink]
