I asked in a previous thread, but did not get many responses.  For the folks "in the know", will the US see the new LR32 1400 rail and ends stops this year?  This will certainly help me make the plunge on the LR32 kit, since the 1080 rail is a little short and the 2424 rail is a bit too pricey.  Pull out those crystal balls and let us know if there is a possibility of seeing them this year.  TIA

[gazing deeply into his crystal ball]

Yes, I suspect so but I don't have any specifics at this time.  Since this is not something that would require any special "stuff" like UL, then it should be something that shows up here sooner rather than later.

[big grin]

Could you just not go ahead and order these from an overseas Festool dealer?  Would the shipping and any taxes /tariffs make this too costly?

Best,
Todd

If  that is what is keeping you from picking one up, consider that you can order a second 1080 and cut it down to match the spacing.  allowing you to make any length up to 10' for less than a single 95" rail

For the price, I would rather not have to do any cutting or modifications.  I was getting ready to order the system and purchase the 2424 rail, but I will probably buy a 1080 and two 1400 for that price (based on European prices).  The new end stops are certainly something that should have come out a while ago, so I am happy it's happened.

Shane - I do appreciate your quick response.  I'll be keeping my fingers crossed and will be looking forward to the new catalog.

Shane, any update on this about timelines for longer LR32 guide rails.

I would like to get a FS 2700/2 length guide rail with the LR32 system, but have been holding off waiting for your cyrstal ball to gets some clarity.

Anything?

I'm new to this thread and already own a LR32 setup.

Can someone point me to a link for the new end stops and rails?
