Hello everyone.
I have to admit... when I first got into woodworking, I hated Festool. I thought it was the most over priced, most ridiculous crap out there..... It's amazing what some good education can do for you. I now have to Festool bug just like most of all you guys. It is odd how when you have the bug, that you can't quiet explain this to someone and not many people will ever "get it". I have always enjoyed nice equipment whether it be Photography, Cycling or other tools etc. It wasn't until my local Festool dealer near me in Holliston, MA. They educated me on what the brand was about and what I could do with it did I finally take one plunge after the next with Festool. Including a garage full of some nice Grizzly large tools I now am extremely happy with my Domino DF 500 and domino assortment kit, TS55 REQ, MFT/3, CT-36, ETS 150/5, DTS 400 EQ and the OF 1400. At age 40, I look forward to many long years of making some nice stuff for the house and having fun doing it.
Anyway, I'm not on here to to brag about all my new tools, I'm here to say hello Fellow Festoolians... I wished I had know sooner. Hopefully I can one day post some work worth posting!
See you guys around!
Ryan
