Unmentioned in any manual, US or European... No hits on Google...

Someone please put me out of my misery and tell me exactly what the "Additional Clamp for Stop Ruler" might be used for..?

I'm not sure which part you're talking about, but if it's this thing. It is used to secure the fence so it doesn't flex. The fence is held by the miterguage part, this part attaches to the edgeprofile of the table, and clamps the other end of the fence to the table.

This?

I must admit when I first got it out the box I was like umm whats this so I left it to one side and assembled everything and looked at it again and soon realised where it went after I  [poke] it in a few place figuring out where it went lol.

That's the one, finally worked it out after staring at it for awhile...

Clearly the name is a direct translation of a 36-letter long German compound noun translated by someone who speaks only Dutch...

You guys are smarted then I am. When I got mine I looked at that thing and went back to the store and looked at the display then I got it, of course it took a few times looking at the set up videos on u tube before I got it.

Yeah, when I was reviewing the MFT/3, I never could figure out why they called it that.  I just referred to it as the "fence clamp"

MFT/3 review - look about halfway down for a close-up photo.
