I just have a new festool ro 150 feq

In short

Open the box, get the festool out, then i plugged the power cable

Then push button forward and nothing happend.

I checked the cable for power with screw driver and there is power on it

I think the machine is not working but you can not check this (warranty)

Or is there something else

Are you sure you put the cable in properly? With a new cable it can be that you have to twist it in very firmly.

If that's not it, then contact your dealer and get a replacement/repair.

Once you install the cable - which will be tight- push in and turn a full 90 degrees clockwise.  If that doesn’t help contact your dealer and return for a replacement.

If you can pull the plug it cord out without twisting, it isn’t seated. Like others said, push it in and twist a quarter turn clockwise.

I also am a little curious as to testing power with a screwdriver but let’s tackle that another day.

Cheers. Bryan.

I've never seen a screwdriver style circuit tester for anything other than low voltage...from around 3-40 volts.  [tongue]

That type of testing screwdriver is common in the UK for testing 240V.  Neon and resistor in the handle.
