In Holland the firm Probin comes with a new smaller MFS slab designed for mounting on a stack of systainers.
I like it and I'm going to copy the idea myself with the help of the CNC machine of a friendly carpenter.

great idea

maybe you should post this also on the dutch forum
woodworking.nl
i think you will get a great response

Menno ( also Dutch )

Really like this idea. Utilising the Systainers we carry around anyway, and just needing the only the top, instead of the 30kg MFT.

Lugging the MFT around is no fun. I put three casters on a piece of plywood then a couple bolts so I can feed it onto the extruded aluminum rails. I then roll it on end instead of carrying it. But using the systainers is also a great idea! Pains me to have to come up with solutions to practical problems like excessive weight when all Festool has to do is add these features themselves.

I like it, but I would prefer it not have the cutout for the top systainer handle. Seems like a big area is taken out of the worktop, exactly where I would no doubt be wanting to work on it.
Can't really see much advantage of having it cut out just so one can open the systainer. Be easy enough to lift the top off if required anyway?
Other than that, I have the standard systainer with the mft type holes in it and find it very useful, but lacking in area, this solves that problem.
Cool idea.
Think I would like to make on myself at some stage. Curious to see how it's clamped on securely?

Nice idea but....

My worry would be stability. Sooner or later the user might just forget that it is only held in place by the locking handle on the top systainer - I am sure that most people know how easily they can pop off.

Neeleman, are they selling these? Had a google but couldn't find anything. . . .

Thought about this exact idea for a while, but if I can just buy one for a reasonable price that might be quicker than waiting to get round to making one myself.

^^^haha, Billy beat me to it. . .

Probin has one of the worst web shops I know of.
They do have a monthly action magazine but most of the stuff in it cannot be ordered from the webshop???
You should contact your local Probin shop at: Probin NL
