New T12 Li-Ion out in Europe!

A lot of good looking tools on there. I seen it its way down on the list. I hope we get it in the states.

As I said - it might depend on certain rules concerning the participation in the monthly contests...   ;)

Did you see the Dewalt version of the TS55 and guiderail?  I wonder if it's coming over here...  ???

Yes I have seen it. The Makita version is also in there - page 12

ETA USA - I dunno

So how come the Danes get introductory pricing on the new drill? I thought Festool wasn't doing that anymore...?

seems like the battery's are the same design as the "old" tdk's and C12, would they be interchangeable?

Li-Ion is definitely a step in the right direction.  That has more-or-less become the industry standard and has been that way for some time...  I was trying to look more closely at this new drill/driver by zooming in to detect the presence of an LED light...  It does not look like one is present...  If so, that really sucks...  I was hoping that this feature would eventually show up on a Festool Cordless drills, like a good portion of the others in the industry already have...  Bummer...

Zach - how about the Festool Li-Ion cordless, any idea when they will be introduced to us here in USA?

PS - I'm really enjoying the C12 I purchased from you a few weeks ago!

Thanks,
Mike

I have tyred the new t12 and t15. The feel very good. To bad that you cant get it until dec. when they are deleverd here in Sweden.  :-[ but the new engine seems to be awesome the differens compared to other screwdrivers is that it goes a line straight from the battery to the engine then the switch is running from the engine separately. And also that is so strong 40Nm its very impressive on the paper and feels good in the hand but only time will tell how if the quality remains.

40Nm strong? My bosch 14.4 gsr ve-2 does 72 Nm!! I use a festool for more then 2 years now and it is a superfine machine, but when it comes to raw power the bosch is unbeateble!
