Hey Folks!

Some of you have been to our old location, and you may remember me saying that we'd be moving into a bigger, better facility.  Well in November we moved into our new shop which is just on the other side of the interstate.  We've got tons of room, Our Festool training room is 3 times bigger; we added climate control;  and we have a few Festool on hand to play with!

And just as before, I encourage all our participants to wander into the production shop and ask our craftsmen questions during breaks, and lunch

Come check out our new place, and learn a little more about the tools: http://www.festooltraining.com/schedule/

Just back from the Classic Bookcase Construction class.  It was wonderful.  The classroom is just as shown - well, not exactly.  There's far more sawdust in that space now.  Greg is a terrific instructor.  One nice advantage of Greg's facility is that it's a working shop, and students can walk into the shop to chat with the staff working there.  I would do it again.  Thanks, Greg, for putting on such a well-run class.

[smile]

Edit: It was also very useful to get a far better perspective on pattern-making, and making parts using Festool goodies in conjunction with the patterns.

Hi
The set up that the US have is great  [big grin] and is something I have been pushing for and I am sure it will eventually happen. Currently the facilities at HQ are not ideal for visitors for this type of course but be patient.....

.....the training facility in the post above of Gregs set up is real cool  [smile]

I will be attending the cabinet, doors, and drawers next week Jun 13. Is there anyone else attending. I am a hobbist and looking very much for improving my skills.

Great to hear you're up and running!  I've been to see you at the old joint, recommend Gregs place highly. I've been to Indiana as well.

Just finshed the cabinet, doors and drawers class at Gregory Paolini Design last week. Wonderfull class that actually let you build and explore the tools. If you don't know this is a real working cabinet shop and you can interact with their staff. The staff gave me some different approaches to problems I have had in the past. As a relative new wood worker I find that I usually over complicate solutions and this experience help get me on a better more successful path.

Many thanks too Gregor and David for the energy and patience.

By the way Ashville, NC is a beautiful place. And any woodworker would appreciate a visit to the Builtmore House.
