I had a one the other day nice bit of kit, cuts really nicely and the dust goes in the bag..  [eek]

It really seems like a kew saw.

But since Im mainly shop bound since its cordless Id have to manually turn my CT on and off whrn i use it.

U just use it with the bag no need for extraction

Ok, here we go... with new machine ;) I've tested it couple days ago on the Holz-Handwerk tradeshow. Move was recorded on special Festool presentation.

What can I say... another great machine!

I must admit it does look just as powerful as my ts55r. Slows down quite a bit when he removes one battery

joiner1970: yes, this machine can run on 10v to 36v !!! (any possible configurations) On 1 battery you have slower speed, but from 27v to 36v - you have the same machine as TS55!!! :)

It clearly appears that the unit will still be NAINA for some time. There doesn't seem to be any hype about any new product announcements tomorrow (1 Apr), so I'm buying the TSC55 from my Germany Dealer in May before returning to the USA permanently.  I will also buy the BHC and PDC drills with the saw, and with the Germany Festool special until July, I will receive an additional FOUR 18V 4.2Ah batteries for buying all three at the same time. That will give me a total of 10 Batteries for the purchase!

There is no question that a cordless 55 that has the same power as the corded version will be a boon when working off campus as it were.  Looking forward to it!

I agree with SittingElf, who knows when this stuff will be available in North America. I think by August I'll start looking overseas for some places to purchase a PDC/Duradrive/TSC55.

Normally I would support my local dealer but Festool makes that very difficult, there's too much ambiguity as to when, or even if these tools will ever make it to North America.
