I made some Dominos from 10mm x 20mm aluminum flat bar stock. I made a narrow countertop that needed to be retained between 2 vertical support posts and the rear edge of the countertop needed to be removable. Here's a quick explanation.
1. "Keys" being drilled into 10mm x 20mm stock using a spotting drill___photo 4981
2. Finished Dominos___photo 4987-s
3. Dominos installed in walnut countertop___photo 4989
4. A 2-part epoxy is poured down each side of the Domino and agitated with a bamboo skewer to make sure it fills every "key" machined into the Domino___photo 4990
5. Attachment holes drilled & tapped___photo 5014-s
6. This is the underside of the countertop___photo 5015-s
7. Pre-assembled with stainless FHSH cap screws___5021
8 & 9. Installed___ photo 5026 & 5027
10. Final installation with LED illumination___5056-s
Well this is discouraging...
