Now with more Festool (was: Festool flooring)

My previous post (joking about the Festool colored flooring) was notably lacking in actual Festools.  I'm happy to report that I have addressed this issue in a fairly significant way:

C12, CT22, TS55, DF500, OF1400, KS120, PS300 EQ, ETS125, LS130, MFT1080, MFS700 x2, MFS400, Parallel Guides + extensions, plus a load of accessories for all of the above. 

Do you like the Festool hole built into the foundation?  (where the original water heater was built into the brickwork)  Only problem is that it's almost full.

Nice shop!  Never heard of a space for a water heater like that, but it looks great with the "stack" instead.

I got them as part of a package deal.  A local woodworker passed away and I bought everything Festool.  I have no idea what he was thinking when he bought them.  They were still unassembled.  I guess it's up to me to figure out what to do with them.

Quite right.  I've spent almost two years turning my dungeon of a basement into what is seen here.  Other than the workbench and a few toys for my daughter, not much "real woodworking" has been accomplished.  Although all that other work makes a hell of a mess too.  But now that all the major work is done (floor, ceiling, walls) a giant floor sweep, and compressed air make cleanup pretty easy.  UPS will also be delivering the Festool Workshop cleaning kit later today.  I never thought I'd be anxiously awaiting vacuum accessories in the mail.

Thanks.  They are Lithonia 4-bay Troffer lights from Home Depot ($50 a fixture.)  They come pre-wired with a 6" armored whip and include bulbs.  But the bulbs are very warm so I gave them away.  I tried a few varieties before standardizing on the Phillips TL865 ALTO II Plus 6500K Daylight bulbs (also available at Home Depot.)  They are a very crisp white, without being too blue.  With nearly 1200W illuminating around 300 square feet of shop space, it's "well lit."  It's probably bright enough to fend off Seasonal Affect Disorder, and certainly bright enough to destroy your night vision.  I keep a string of white Christmas LEDs plugged-in to illuminate the way to the downstairs toilet so I don't burn my retinas out if I need to make a late night trip to the loo.
