OBSOLETE - Unable to make a post with pictures

I've been trying all day to make a post with pictures included. The pictures are 5kb .jpg's and there are 7 of them so well within the restrictions. I've tried using a laptop, a desktop and my android device. I've tried using Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. I've tried the post a reply, which is ultimately all I want to do, and also tried creating a whole new post. Nothing works. All that seems to happen is it shows the upload percentage in the bottom corner of the browser window and when it completes it redirects me to a 'start new topic' form with no evidence of my intended post or picture uploads. It's driving me nuts. Suggestions?

  Try again now that you have five posts, I seem to recall a post minimum to avoid having spammers  post pictures.

Seth beat me to it.  I went looking for the setting and couldn't find it.  Might also want to clear your cache prior to trying again.

Problem solved for the OP.  Resizing images was required.  If you have trouble with large image files try reducing the quality or the image size prior to posting.  It will help out those who use a mobile device also with load times.
