Small project! I made a octagon shape out of ply, cuts holes for the posts. This allowed me to get my post perfectly in line at the base while i braced them & also formed my boxing for the concrete. Rafter slotted into middle of posts & rafters are 32 degrees. Fascia then Ply on top of rafters, taped joints & covered with felt paper & battened. Cedar shingles then weather dile on top. Timber balustrade all around to complete it. I found the hkc55 very useful here

How many weekends did that take to build?

 
Very nice! What did you use to slot the top of the posts for the roof members?
