Odd Ridgid Spindle Sander tip

I have the Ridgid belt/spindle sander, and have been buying assortments of the sanding sleeves. These include a 3" sleeve, and of course the Ridgid has no 3" drum. Oddly enough, the 3" drum from a (defunct) Wood River spindle sander fits the on the Ridgid, without the insert plate. I put several fender washers under the drum for clearance, and the dust collection is not bad. I may make a new insert plate to reduce the gap between the table and drum.
