OF1400 micro adjustment

Hi, Just picked up a new to me OF1400 (3 years old), but the microadjustment is very hard to move.  It was seized, but with persuasion it now rotates, but takes a lot of brute force.

Does anyone know how to get the adjuster rod out so I can dismantle and clean it?  I took the circlip off the bottom of the rod, but it doesnt lift out.

Been looking for youtube videos, but no luck.

Hi, welcome to the FOG,from the parts breakdown there appear to be another snap ring#34 to hold the adjuster and rod in place, i.e won't let rod pull out all the way. good luck guy[attachimg=1]
