OF2000 CMS

you can use the guide rods to mount it upside down..

Just think of the router hanging from them under the table top

Great idea! Thank you! I'm trying to get this machine mounted and use my 1500 free hand! Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris,

I am sorry - I thought that would be a positive answer straight away.

Hi Shane,

Is your short and sweet "No" because it is not allowed or because it will not fit?

Hi
The 2000 will not fit as the design changed when the current C.M.S was changed to take the 1010, 1400 and the 2200.

My experience was that the ring fit (I think it was actually the 1010 ring?), but the crank for the lift interfered with the body of the OF2000, so it wouldn't work without extensive modification that I didn't think was worth it.

Peter, first and foremost thanks for the answer on the New Brit Woodshop.! I love your channel and your very thoughtful for following up for me! I just got an email from another member that gave me some really great insight on what I can do! I was a little frustrated and was thinking about getting....gasp....a PC and a decent table but I might be able to work something out after the responses from the members of FOG! This is a really heavy duty router and I happen to like the colors too! Thanks again!! Chris

Hi Chris

I do my best to help.

Good luck and make sure that you have a safe solution.

Careful????? Meeeeee????? I'm ALWAYS careful  [wink]
I going to look at that Veritas table Promark suggested. I really want to mount this big boy and that might be a really viable option and after all of my purchases maybe saving a grand wouldn't be such a bad idea!

Have you considered using the threaded holes with M4 (IIRC) machine screws in the router base to attach your own table top?
