Hi guys

Just about pushed the button today (neelemans fault) but just wanted to know about the cutter situation ..can it not be changed ?

The OFK500 doesn't use 'normal' router bits, only special ones, but there are a few available. There's the flush trimming bit, chamfer bit (45 degree), and then radius bits from 2mm up to 6mm in 1mm increments.

Thanks
Think I will still go for it .dont think I'd want it for anything other than that anyway
Anyone know the cutter part nos

The cutters are only produced by Festool.
They don't come cheap at around €76-89 incl. VAT.
Of course they can be changed because there are around 9 models.
There is a screw in the center of the hollow axis which disconnects the router bits.

Man, you missed the 30 and 60 degree chamfers AGAIN!  [poke]

After you'd edited your original post I linked to above too...  [wink]

Yeah. I thought they existed, but wasn't at all sure & couldn't be arsed looking it up..  [unsure] My bad.

Thanks guys ..good advice

Think it comes with one cutter .So I will order one each of the others .Because if I don't get them with it I probably won't .Then it will be less usefull

Also it will be my first 240v festool
