IT LOOKS OK and accrurate but the lasers are way off the mark they will need a adjustment. I have only cut test cuts so far but the slide action has become very stiff. You must apply lots of pressure to get it moving then it feels OK. Don’t even think about trying to move it when the motor is up it be will stuck. Well is this again a design of this product. Does it ned some lube oil?

Thanks

Make sure the knob that locks the slide is loose, it is the one on top of the right tube.

Its all within sufficient tolerances for woodworking purposes...or so I've been told.

It's crazy how many complaints are lingering around here about the Kapex.

Everything should be silky smooth.  Nothing should be forced or stiff if you have everything loose and the saw ready to use.

If you are 100% sure that all the locking features are free and unlocked, and you're having trouble with the saw then send it in.

The lasers needing to be adjusted, that's no big deal.  But if your new to the features of the saw, make sure everything is in the ready to use position.

Well this Engineer had the locking knob a little to close to lock position. Works very good now.

Many Thanks

Do you have the supplemental manual?  Here is the PDF.

Don, you beat me to it, so I will add........READ the supplemental manual before using the saw.....  As far as that goes, read the manual for any tool and become familiar with it before you use it the first time.....
