Hi Folks, [cool]

I have read Jerry Work's docs for years as I believe he had wonderful insights into how to use numerous tools effectively. He mentions extended (2 meter) side rails (also called table profile) for the MFT as part number 488 555 in the document "Getting the Most out of the Festool Multifunction Table". Is that still available? Also, there was a Festool folding tool that contained hex keys, screwdriver bits and possibly torx bits. Probably long gone but if anybody has info, I'd love to hear it.

Respectfully,
J. Crowe

The second item is the "Toolie", part no. 498863.  I am not sure about the current availability.  Mine came from a dealer in the United Kingdom a few years ago with some router bits (8mm shank).

Please do call.  I suspect that the image is upside down.

The problem I see (or, to be precise, that I don't see)... is the V-grove:

This looks like a profile for the old tables.

That Toolie is a rebranded Wera article. The Wera is cheaper and may have some different hex/screw parts.

Hi folks,

Does anyone have a link for these documents? I've done a search and some of the posted links come up ok but others are so old that they are dead.

thanks,

Len

I can 100% guarantee that part number is for the MFT/3 profile despite what the photo may show.

I'll put that to the realworld test as accidently stumbled over a shop that sells them (2x 2m) for 210€ incl. VAT and shipping - couldn't resist. Will take a week for delivery though, update then.
Here's the promised update, this is the profile I got delivered:

It's the MFT/3 profile.

But sub-par packaging resulted in the destruction of both the ends of both profiles, so I was offered a price reduction which brought the bottom line to below 190€ incl. VAT and shipping - for two profiles with 1.99m useable on each.
