Hi guys,

Hope you're all good! Recently purchased an older corded festool vecturo off of a friend as i really needed the plunge for some rennovation work im doing, but it's unfortunately not starlock. Is there an adapter available in the UK for this? I have a tonne of starlock blades i would love to use if possible, ive seen a few things online but i don't want to purchase something thats no good!

Will that work?

Much appreciated!

The adapter you've highlighted is NOT for use with the Quickin tool attachment system which the OS 400 has. Look for the Fein 35222952050 adapter which works on Quickin tool attachments.

Here are some photos of the OS 400 and the blades that will work on it with the Fein adapter.
1st photo: You can use standard Supercut blades, Starlock Plus blades and OIS blades.
2nd & 3rd photos: Notice the amount of offset the adapter introduces to the Vecturo, that may or may not be an issue depending on what you're doing.
4th photo: This is the Quickin mount for the standard OS 400 and for the Fein adapter.

Really appreciate the detailed response mate, most of my blades are starlock plus so that would work perfect, just to confirm, is this is?

The offset would render the plunge useless but the ability to use starlock blades would be 100% worth it! If i were to use it without the adapter, which specific blade types would i need? I know festool is unique so would like to purchase the correct ones to use with the plunge attachment.
