I purchased this machine from William Kerfoot, a used machinery dealer in Maryland/Pennsylvania in 1998. It required full disassembly and repainting with Martin Senour industrial enamel, along with a little reconditioning and some light rust removal, but was in very good shape overall.

It has been used occasionally in my shop ever since and has always been well maintained with regular applications of wax on the table and lubrication of moving parts. It is in perfect operating condition and it's cosmetic appearance is nearly flawless with no rust, scratches, or broken parts. It includes 3 heavy duty rubber machinery mounts to protect the floor and enhance smooth running.

It comes up to speed instantly, runs smoothly, and is very quiet with a pleasant, authoritative, mechanical whirr. The 1/2" thick aluminum disc is flat and true. The table swings outward for full access to the disc when changing the abrasive. The large handwheel is used to adjust table angle. The dust collection is extremely efficient.

The direct-drive motor is 1/2hp, 208/416 volt, 3-phase with magnetic push-button controls. The disc takes about 90 seconds to come to a stop after the machine is switched off. It could be converted to single phase with a new motor and controls if desired.

The sander was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1967 by Oliver Machinery Company.

Price: $1450

I prefer payment by cash or check, but a deposit made by PayPal is fine. However, if the balance is made by PayPal, an allowance will have to made for the fees involved. It can be loaded here in an open truck or trailer, shipped by common carrier, or possibly delivered by me, depending on where it's going and how soon you need it. It's made entirely of cast iron and machined steel (except the aluminum disc) and weighs approximately 300 pounds.
